DR TODD BRILLIANT
DENTIst and owner

Dr. Brilliant loves to create beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients. After growing up in Long Island, NY, he attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Resource Ecology and Management. Dr. Brilliant continued his education at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He then continued onto a residency at the San Diego Veterans Administration Hospital. 

Dr. Brilliant is committed to continuing his education and is active in the dental community. He is an active member in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and San Diego County Dental Association.

DR KRISTINA HARRIS
DENTIST

Dr. Kristina Harris is originally from Michigan and has recently relocated back to the San Diego area.  She previously practiced dentistry with Dr. Brilliant in Santee, where they realized they had similar philosophies in terms of how they approach their patients' dental care.  She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from Albion College (where she was also a member of the Women’s Basketball team) prior to attending The University of Michigan School of Dentistry.  Dr. Harris earned her dental degree in 2003 and has over 20 years of experience caring for her patients.

Joey
OFFICE MANaGER

Joey brings over 27 years of valuable dental experience to our team and has a passion for managing all aspects of dental practice. With her extensive background in both back and front office operations, she excels in addressing patients' questions and concerns. Joey is dedicated to exceptional patient experiences through compassion and honesty. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her husband of 25 years, their three children, and granddaughter.

MAUREEN
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Maureen began in dental as an assistant over 15 years ago, then trained further to become a hygienist. Maureen and her husband are longtime residents of Escondido and together they have a daughter and son-in-law. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, hiking, and pickleball! She is happy to be a part of the Brilliant Dental team.

Roxana
Registered Dental hygienist

Roxana is a seasoned professional in the dental field, bringing years of expertise to her patients. On her days off, Roxanna cherishes moments with her loved ones, including her faithful companion, Cinnamon. She enjoys traveling and hiking to unwind and explore new adventures.

Miriam
registered Dental hygienist

Miriam is a graduate of Concorde Hygiene School, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from CSUSM. Outside of academia, she is passionate about outdoor activates, exploring new destinations through travel, and nurturing deep connections with her family.

Lead Registered dental assistant

Brianna became a valuable member of our team in August 2021, following her graduation from the Mesa Community College Registered Dental Assistant Program. As our lead RDA, she brings invaluable skills and dedication to her role. Outside of work, Brianna thrives on an active lifestyle and treasures time spent with her family.

Alex has been an essential part of our team since July 2020, initially starting in front office reception and now excelling as a certified RDA. Continuously seeking growth opportunities, Alex is dedicated to ensuring your experience is seamless and comfortable. Outside of work, she finds joy in the company of her family and loved ones.

With 10 years of experience in customer service, she ensures that each patient feels valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. Whether scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, or assisting with paperwork, she is committed to making your visit as seamless and stress-free as possible. Marilynn enjoys family time, cuddling her Dachshund, and working out.
